Hey! My name is Joanna Jia, and I am the Executive Co-Founder of The Global Business Scholars. My vision of creating free business education and resources emerged from a belief in the power of knowledge. Many talented students worldwide with great potential are hindered by their limited access to information, mentorship, and guidance. By establishing this organization, I hope to dismantle these barriers and empower students worldwide for their business future.
Outside of GBS, I have developed many many hobbies. For example, I've been playing the piano for almost 12 years now, and is something that I am genuinely passionate about! Other than the piano, I enjoy art in my free time. I love painting, sketching, and experimenting with digital art. I also have the cutest 11 year old Maltese dog named Blake! Additionally, I'm involved in other academic organizations as well, such as DECA and BPA. This past year, I was fortunate enough to qualify for ICDC in Orlando! Through it all though, GBS has truly challenged me as a leader to take on new responsibilities and challenges. I know that together we will be able to make a meaningful impact on business education around the world!
